It's 5* outside, youre in your house, youve lost your electricity & now you have no heat. Could you survive overnight ? 

You're heading home in a snow storm, you slide off the road. Could your survive overnight in your car ?

Being prepared for the worst case scenario is the key to survival. Please join us for some educational tips, tricks and handouts.

Come join us for a hands-on kombucha brewing class, we will discuss 2 different methods on how to brew. If you want to start brewing right away, you will need to bring a Large (atlest a gallon), wide mouthed jug or glass container . You may bring a stainless steel, but many believe that it is better to use glass. You will also need to provide 8 bags of caffeinated black tea. We will provide the SCOBY (starter culture) and the sugar.

Coms 101:

Learn valuable information for using your handheld comm radio, learn to radio in channels, find emergency long range and short range channels, as well as radio stations local to the area you would be in. A vaulable class for anyone  !

Whether you know you have a green thumb, or learning the ropes, this class will be a valuable asset for your learning and skills for a successful garden in 2025.

Land Navigation can be such a valuable asset to have in your mind. This class is a 2 part class that will provie quite valuable information and lessons to be successful in navigating yourself out of a situation or into a safe place. Come with some patience, a notebook if youd like and a compass.

 Part two to this class will be in August.

When: May 10th 2025

Location: Expedition Island Park, Green River

Time: 10:00am

This class will cover everything from learning how to stop a bleed in a traumatic wound. We will learn the " when, where, why, and how" to apply a tourniquet. Other subjects covered will be how to pack a wound, how to use a pressure dressing, and how to apply the usage of these items on a real person with fake wounds. We will also cover when to call in the emergency dependent on the wound on the person.

What a fun and busy weekend this will be, setting up camp, hiking, implementing what you know for survival, going over important gear to haveand survive on, and doing part 2 to our Land Navigation Class and using what you have learned out in the open.

Location: Sweetwater County Sherriffs Shooting Range (Signs will be out) which is directly South and next to the County Public Range.

-Cash Only

-Bring your Own pistol and Ammo- (Pistol ONLY please)

-Bring Hearing protection (non negotiable)

-Children encouraged to come and shoot in the 1st Annual Airsoft Challenge. We will have items available for use, please be aware eye safety and hearing protection will be required. Parental Supervision is Non Negotiable. No Children are to be left unattended at Either station.

-Pistol Shoot is 18+ Only

Beneficiary: Proceeds will fund the purchases of Search and rescue vests for our Sweetwater County Search and Rescue Teams. These vests will be donated to help our teams have success with our local search and rescue animals bringing rescue items to where they are called to.
